Not every craving is a real craving to smoke. Often this is due to exhaustion, a low energy level or the need for a break. A short power nap meets this need more directly than the old habit of masking tiredness with a cigarette.

Sometimes your body needs rest, not stimulation.

Why a power nap can help

After quitting smoking, some days feel strange. The body adapts and fatigue may temporarily become more noticeable.

A power nap of 10 to 20 minutes can improve alertness, increase concentration and give new energy. Instead of covering up your tiredness, give your body the short rest it actually needs.

This is precisely why cigarettes often lose their appeal as a supposed stimulant.

This is how you use a power nap correctly

Keep the power nap short and planned:

- 10 to 20 minutes is enough - if possible before late afternoon - quiet place and set timer - Drink water after getting up and exercise briefly

The important thing is not to fall asleep. Just a few minutes of rest can help you gather energy and return to the day feeling stronger.

If you respond to fatigue with rest instead of smoking it away, you will build healthier and more sustainable habits.
